The Humber Business Resilience Forum (HBRF) is a free cyber resilience resource for all organisations in the Humber region.  It has been a huge success with over 200 members benefiting from free resources, seminars, workshops and desk top cyber exercises.

Norman Mortell, Managing Director of Agenda Screening Services is on the HBRF board who met on 12th September, it was an excellent venue kindly provided by C4Di on a very sunny Hull morning and the board reflected on the latest successful event where nearly 60 people learned more about cyber insurance.

Norman said “As one of the founding members and sponsors of the HBRF we are proud of the contribution that we are able to make to resilience within our local business community, the HBRF never rests and in November it plans to run a Human Firewall seminar on the South Bank to show how engaged and well trained staff can prevent up to 70% of cyber-attacks and on the 28th of February next year we are running a joint board level information security responsibility event in conjunction with the Institute of Directors.   If you are not a member of the HBRF I would encourage you to sign up, it is free!”

The HBRF is supported by local businesses such as Agenda but also the local and regional cyber police specialists and the University of Hull Business School.  For more information on membership visit
