Large amounts of personal data are stored and transmitted across IT systems and there is increasing awareness of how this data is both used and misused, particularly in the light of recently large scale data breaches, such as the recent cyber-attack on the NHS IT system in 2017.

The last few years have seen a significant increase in threats to IT infrastructures and networks from cyber-attacks. This workshop, delivered by Steve Dennison from Humberside Police on behalf of the Humber Business Resilience Forum will provide an overview of the risks caused by cyber-attacks and how to develop a successful cyber strategy. The workshop is aimed at managers rather than IT specialists. Registration is open from 9.30 am when refreshments will be served and the workshop will commence at 10 am and will last for approximately an hour and a half.

As part of the TAP project, we may take photographs/video to use in case studies and post about the event on social media and our website. If you do not wish for your photograph to be taken, please inform us. Visit for more information.
